Centuries after its official ban around the world, slavery still exists, because it is too lucrative an activity. Modern slavery takes many forms, all based on the exploitation of those who are vulnerable: bonded labor, child marriage, kidnap, domestic labor, prison camps ... With the growing globalization and thirst for cheap labor, there is a slave in every chain or production of any popular consumer goods — our clothes, electronics, and food. This series shows examples of most of these forms of slavery through interviews with former slaves.
