Moscow’s “Rage Rooms” By The Hour

How many times have you been in a situation in which you wanted to stand up, yell to the top of your lungs and start beating up everything that is in your way? To destroy your surroundings until there’s nothing left but shattered little pieces of dust.

It's proven that illnesses and health problems such as Heart Disease, Asthma, Obesity, Diabetes, Depression, Gastrointestinal Issues and even Alzheimer's are, by great majority, consequence of stress and anger/sadness-retention. These ailments take millions of lives per year. Heart Disease is the first cause of death globally, more people die annually from it than from any other cause. An estimated 17.7 million per year, representing 31% of all global deaths.

So, holding back emotions…Not so healthy, eh?

Well in Russia, (Oh…Dear Russia, land of crazy and wonderful ideas), more specifically in Moscow, a man named Alexei Barinskiy came out with an exceptional plan after the flea market he owned went bankrupt: He used all of the items that couldn’t be sold to create Debosh—rooms where clients can go and destroy everything and anything. They customize rooms according to the clients' petitions, reproducing their offices, schools, house of their exes, etc. You can even request a car to be placed in!

The coolest part? The majority of Deboshs’ profit gets sent to charity, and in just under a year the company raised approximately $15,000 for the crowdfunding charity, dobro.mail.ru, which supports over 140,000 projects ranging from giving food to those in need to building a garden for an orphanage.

Shouldn’t this healthy service become worldwide trend?
