Lethal drones have become a crucial part of American foreign policy. However, the U.S. is also selling a lot of drones around the globe, and now it wants to do this much more easily.
The militarized Trump administration just announced a new drone export policy designed to make it easier for American companies to sell drones abroad.
Thanks to the new policy, certain drone sales can go through the direct commercial sales process, which means that American manufacturers can export more directly to other states and bypass the foreign military sales process, which entails more time-consuming involvement from the U.S. government.
