Why Civilian Casualties Increased Heavily In Trump's First Year
2017 was a bloody year. Since Donald Trump took office at the White House, civilian casualties by airstrikes increased heavily in countries where the U.S. military is engaged in war.
In Iraq and Syria, where the "fight against IS" is taking place, between, 6,136 and 9,315 civilians have been killed by the American-led coalition. 2017 was the deadliest year for them.
The Pentagon itself does not want to acknowledge the carnage. It continues claiming that the comparatively small number of 841 civilians have been killed during the same period. Nevertheless, one question remains. Did the killings of civilians increase because of Trump himself?
During his campaign in 2016, Trump promised that he would kill more "terrorists" including their families. Just in his first year, civilian deaths in Iraq and Syria have increased by 200 percent. As this article says:
