Video: How The US Overpowers India In Diplomacy

The video breaks down the inaugural "2+2 meeting" between the US and India, held this week.

The analyst calls the meeting a "grossly one-sided affair" in favour of the Americans.

Not only were the motivations for the meeting different for the two countries, the expectations for outcomes were also different.

The US's main agenda was to persuade India to reduce oil imports from Iran and instead buy oil from America. India wanted a US waiver to import crude oil from Iran.

This is not the first time that Iran has become a sticking point in American diplomacy across the world. After all, a meeting between the world's largest democracy and the world's oldest modern democracy should not go unnoticed. It can have immense implications for 1/7th of the world's population.
