Podcast: How Beggary And Torture Feature In Indian Law

Project 39 A is a National Law University of Delhi venture to make complicated criminal justice issues in India comprehensible. This is the first episode of their podcast, where they discuss recent developments such as decriminalising beggary in India.

Another interesting discussion is about torture by police and how India's courts have responded to it.

However, the most curious aspect of this podcast is an interview with Dr Sanjeev Jain, a neuropsychiatrist from Bangalore, to understand the psychology behind the mass hangings in a village called Burari.

Hosted by Yash S Vijay and Neetika Vishwanath, Project 39A.
