Mueller Investigation: How Will It Affect Trump?

Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation's much anticipated report has finally been turned in. Now the ball is in the hands of the U.S. Attorney General William Barr. He has already indicated that he will be sharing the "principle findings" of the Mueller report as soon as possible with Congress. The big question was how much the public will get to learn about the contents of the Mueller report. A Department of Justice spokeswoman has informed ABC News that the document presented by Barr to Congress is expected to be released to the public as well—nevertheless, a specific timeline was not specified.

Trump was described by sources as being in a “great mood” as he dined with family at Mar-a-Lago celebrating his son Barron's 13th birthday. He may indeed have reason to celebrate as the Mueller investigation's indictment does not extend to his immediate family circle, such as his son Donald Trump Jr and son-in-law Jared Kushner. Trump himself was not subpoenaed, so his worst fears may indeed be over. What is evident is that there will be a bitter fight between the Democrats and the Republicans about releasing the actual contents of the Mueller investigation.
