Have you ever heard about the revolution in Bahrain?
Well, many haven't. During the last years, thousands of people have been killed, imprisoned and tortured. However, the whole conflict went largely unnoticed.
The reason for that is simple. The ruling al-Khalifa family is very close to the United States and Saudi Arabia. Many atrocities were committed with Saudi support.
But the Bahraini revolution is, as this brilliant comic shows, inconvenient. It is inconvenient to the United States, to Europe and to other Arab regimes oppressing their people.
And that's why we hear almost nothing about it.
