The gist of "Movie Reviews in 20 Q's" is that the couple conversing is having fun, and hence the audience is having fun. Their dialogues are easy-going and really laid back, and one cannot help laughs as the podcast trails along. A blog post by "Autistic Nick" gives more insight to the podcasting couple, as Sam Hurley answers to some interview questions.

The glitzy dresses, Hollywood glamour parade down the red carpet, and who said what when getting the award and who got the award will be talked about for days and even months to come. The Lady Gaga–Bradley Cooper saga, controversies regarding the Best Movie awardee "Green Book", Javier Bardem's poignant speech in Spanish against walls, and director Spike Lee's remarks on Donald Trump that have already drawn him into a tug of war with the President— there is already a lot to linger on and on in our debates.
Do we sometimes feel the need for dreamy escapes to fiction when the reality of our contemporary lives becomes too unbearable?
Regardless of who actually got the awards, the nominees will be screened around the world as they are among the best recent cinematic works. In this episode of "Movie Reviews in 20 Q's", the Oscar nominees are reviewed by Sam and Stacey Hurley. If you want to catch up with some of the selected best of the movie world, the couple's "ordinary folk" reviews (as opposed to a highbrow critique style) may guide your way through. This podcast is sure to make you crack up with laughter as the kaleidoscope of movies rolls on in your imagination.
