Nineteen Jewish community centers in 12 states rattled by bomb threats in one day in the US, Vice News reported on 27 February.
Apart from the bomb threats, there were some physical attacks too, like this case, where a Queens man slugged a Jewish community leader in the face. He fled to Turkey. Guess why?
Since the start of 2017, more than 60 Jewish centers in the US have received a total of nearly 170 bomb threats, compared with just a single isolated incident in that same time period in 2016, according to the Jewish Community Center Association. They say that in 2015, there were no reported incidents.
Vox News published an interview with former neo-Nazi, Christian Picciolini, about the rise of anti-semitism in the US. Picciolini, at the age of 18, was leading the US's first neo-Nazi skinhead gang, and helped to recruit and organize cells across the country, according to the report.
He says the slogan “make America great again" simply means “make America white again.”
It is good to hear from a former neo-Nazi that he was healed and he decided to eradicate racism.
