Women Are Being Harassed At Music Festivals In Scary Numbers—WTF Is Going On?

Thirty two million Americans (approximately) go to at least one music festival per year. But underneath all the carefree "fun, energy and artistic expression lurks a serious problem"—a problem of sexual harassment and non-consensual acts. Our Music Our Body, a collaborative effort by Between Friends and Rape Victims Advocates, works to create awareness about sexual harassment in the music scene. Last fall, when they conducted a survey among festival-goers, 92 percent of women said they experienced harassment of some sort.

Journalist Isabel Sophia Dieppa goes behind the scenes to find out how music festival organizers handle cases of misconduct against women.
