Loving Vincent — The World's First Fully Painted Feature Film

After years of struggle, illusions and hard work, not to mention litres and litres of paint, the world’s first fully oil-painted movie, Loving Vincent, was completed.

I'm going to make this short for you:

I've

Never

Seen something like this before.

There's little more than I can add. We all know Vincent van Gogh; Cypresses in Starry Night, the self-portraits, Still Life: Vase with Fourteen Sunflowers ... We all know at least a summarized version of his tragedies and his accomplishments. Yet the man and his mysteries you haven’t yet met.

Through 65,000 oil-painted frames, the film illustrates us the challenging life of Van Gogh, along with his unexplainable death. A collaboration of Poland and U.K. brought to us with the help of 125 professional impressionist painters whose work somehow serves as background for the actors to masterly perform their art into.

So stop wasting your time reading this and go check the trailer, have sneak on the website and, like me, let yourself be dazzled.
